Obesity and Exercise

A recent worldwide study did convey,
That exercise acts in a negligible way.
Perhaps it’s so for most hard work, or play,
But not for those who run or bike each day.

In Amsterdam they’re thin, and in the Hague,
They ride to work, go shopping on a bike,
In Norway thinner bodies are in vogue,
Diabetes rates much lower if you hike.

Shell rowers, marathoners are quite slim,
Though eating food that’s not at all restricted.
There’s less effect from workouts in the gym.
Walk five miles; the stomach is constricted.

For you, if hikes or bike trips cannot be,
Stay trim by eating less food, properly.
